Zadanie znelo napísať list do školského časopisu o koncerte.

**Dear Editor,

I am writing to you about the concert in our school´s gym, who was last Friday. On the concert appeared school´s band, Wanted. All classrooms first and second year mandatory attend. It was about 170 students.

The band started play a bit late, because they had problem with their technology. However, the problem was solved fast. Wanted is five member girl´s band students, who play rock music. The consist of a singer, a lead guitarist, a guitarist a bass guitarist and a drummer. Although there are rock band, so don´t play just rock songs.

Although, audience was on a start bored, immediately after finished first song revive. The crowd started sing along to with singer and sang nearly every song.

However, I can say that the concert wasn´t a total success. Uncomfortable in school´s gym was bad. The worst was a cold, for which teachers concert finished earlier.

Why can´t we have concert in the town hall? Although it was be better they had to pay high price to hire it.

at the concert; performed spíš než appeared; school band + zkus se zamyslet nad slovosledem a významem slov ve větě All classrooms…

věta It was about 170 students. znamená Bylo to o 170 studentech.

• started to play; bez čárky před because; have a problem with the technical support
  • např. Wanted is a girl band composed of five students who play rock music.
  • ve větě The consists… chybí sloveso a 1 čárka
  • Although they are a rock band, they don´t play just rock songs.

  (Posílám to po částech, radši.)

• místo _on a start_ patří in/at the beginning; the audience was bored but livened up right after the first song. – slovosled ve vaší větě je totální chaos, musím chvíli přemýšlet, než mi dojde, co jste chtěl říct, a to platí obecně u tohoto dopisu
  • … started to sing nebo singing along with the singer to nearly all songs.

• spíše než HOWEVER bych tady použila UFORTUNATELY, čímž hned na začátku vyjádříte i své zklamání. → Unfortunately, the concert was not an absolute success.
  • uncomfortable je přídavné jméno, tak kdepak je to podstatné, abychom věděli, co bylo nepohodlné/nep­říjemné? 
  • spojením a cold se většinou myslí nachlazení, vy jste ale chtěl vyjádřit the cold, čili ta zima, ten chlad; dále pak upravte slovosled tak, aby odpovídal tomu anglickému

  • Although it was be better they had to pay high price to hire it. – překlad by zněl asi takto: „Ačkoliv bylo být lepší, kdyby museli zaplatit vysokou cenu, aby si to pronajali.“ To jste asi říct nechtěl a abych se přiznala, tady opradu nevím, co přesně jste říct chtěl. 

  Zbytek je ok. Doufám, že nevadí, že jsem spíše naváděla na samoopravu, než rovnou uvedla, jak bych to napsala já… 

Musím sa ti poďakovať, že si my s tým pomohla. Nie nie vôbec mi nevadí, že to je po častiach a že to je upravené. (Musím sa priznať, že mi to tak lepšie vyhovuje, pretože od tohoto listu závisí moja známka na vysvečku.)
Ešte raz ti veľmi pekne ďakujem.

Trošku som to upravil podľa vyššie uvedených kritérii, ale nie všetko sa mi podarilo.

- je třeba přehodit slovosled a take place je sloveso (konat se), takže člen tam nemá co dělat: … about the concert that took place in our school gym last Friday

At the concert performed THE school band called Wanted. – WHO není jednak nutné a zde ani správné (používá se jen pro osoby)

The classrooms first and second year attend mandatory. Tuto větu jsi nezměnil vůbec… „classroom“ je třída ve smyslu místnost. Předpokládám, že jsi chtěl napsat, že účast prvních a druhých tříd (ročníků) byla povinná, tak tedy:
The first and second classes' attendance was mandatory.

There was an audience of 170. „of 170“ čeho? ryb, židlí, … 

The band started to play a bit late because, they have a problem with technical support. – po because není třeba čárka a HAVE by mělo být v minulém čase.

TheY consist of a singer, a lead guitarist, a guitarist, a bass guitarist and a drummer.

Jinak je tento odstavec ok.

- opět beze změny… zkus to přeformulovat a napsat, že ta tělocvična nebyla moc pohodlná…

The worst was the cold, for which teachers finished concert earlier. … THE teachers … THE concert … a asi bych napsala spíš „before time“ než „earlier“, nějak mi to tam nesedí, nevím proč.
