Why do I want to work in a hotel industry the United Kingdom? In a nutshell, there are three main reasons. First and most important I want to become a better English speaker. It is much easier to get a good job here when you speak English fluently and properly, not to mention that English language is my hobby. That is why I have decided to travel abroad and live there for a year or two. Being surrounded by native English speakers and people from all around the world is the best way of learning William Shakespeare´s language. After coming back home to the Czech Republic, I want to work in a tourist industry as a tourist guide or in a travel agency.
I should also mention that I love traveling. Meeting people from various cultures and countries is very enriching and eye-opening. I have been to Spain, Greece, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Slovakia and all these visits were absolutely amazing.
Finally I want to point out that I am interested in geography, history and politics in general. I would love to visit places connected with Czechoslovak pilots serving in the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain, specifically Imperial War Museum Duxford and other important places of the United Kingdom´s rich history such as Westminster Abbey, Stonehenge and Hadrian´s Wall.
I was working for three weeks in a small hotel in Córdoba, Spain in 2006. The hotel is situated close to the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba. I also worked as a tourist guide.
