kterej Novák

Měli jsme debatu: Jak by se anglicky řeklo: Kterej Novák ty seš? Which Novak are you? nebo Which of Novaks are you? ?

Which Novak, which of Novaks, which of the Novaks.

Actually it's hard to imagine a context in which this precise wording would be used (even in tykání mode) when you're talking face-to-face to the person concerned. It sounds too blunt/direct or even rude for English-speaking cultures.

I've heard that the Novaks have three daughters; one's a ballerina, the other's an airline stewardess, and the third's an English teacher. Which Novak are you? (sounds culturally impolite or even rude). Which of the three are you, if you don't mind me asking?

If you're talking about (not directly to) the person concerned, you could say which Novak or which of the Novaks.
