Turn on somebody

Is it possible to use „Turn on“ in a way to order someone to face me? E.g. Turn on me. The reason I am asking about it is that I know „turn on somebody“ as a phrasal verb meaning (except all other meanings) to be angry or upset with somebody or to start a quarrel. So in that case the order „turn on me“ would mean something different if not nonsense.

Hum4nfrog, I´m just curious… Why do you speak English to your son? Do you live here or in UK?

I live in Plzen and I've never been to English speaking country. The decision to speak to my son English begins long ago. When I was 6 or 7 there was very poor program on Czech TV but we were able to receive German TV. I enjoyed all the cartoons they were showing but of course I didn't understand them. My mum told me if my grandpa, who could speak German, had been talking to me German since I was very little, I could understand. So I am trying it with my son. I have real trouble to learn any language (9 years Russian, 4 years German, 16 years English – all with poor results) so if my son inherited my talent, it'll be a real gift for him to speak English as bad as me before he goes to school I think. Furthermore my English gets better too I think, and English is my hobby.

If I had a son, I would speak to him in English as well. Even if I would live in Chech Republic Or there's another solution. I would speak to him in English and my wife in czech. IT is very benificial. My dad talked to me in Croatia (prostě chorvatština/srbšti­na ) and mum in czech. Although it had been only for first four years, it was really good idea.

To Seqwence… YOU're the man. YOu won't probably be the one who will take car of child daily:-) You can afford to speak English to your child:-)
To HUm4nfrog… I believe it must have been really tough decision foryou.Who speaks Czech to your boy? You don't spend with him all day, do you?

To Otakarek: My wife and all the other people speak to my son Czech. I speak to him all day long as my office is in my house and as my wife is in the office with me and so is our son.
