Near,close

Dobry den, otazka ohladom Near: He lives near my house alebo HE lives near to my house. Zda sa mi ze som videl obe moznosti, mozno je jedna gramaticky nespravna.
To iste aj pri predlozke Close.

Podle MED to vypadá, že near v případě, který jste uvedl mude bez ‚to‘.

Near to se používá např:
Julian was near to panic as he suddenly realized that he was trapped.

He lived near to their house. Zo Števa Kinga :-D

Near can be used in the following ways:

as a preposition: I lived near the school. ♦ I’ll write and let you know nearer the time.

as an adverb: Come nearer, and I’ll tell you the whole story.

as an adjective: I went into the nearest room. ♦ A climb in the mountains led to near disaster.

in the preposition phrase near to: Pull your chair nearer to the table.

Neni to jen rozdil v prekladu?:

HE LIVED NEAR THEIR HOUSE – BYDLEL BLIZKO JEJIH DOMU

HE LIVED NEAR TO THEIR HOUSE – BYDLEL BLIZKO U JEJICH DOMU.

apod.

Souhlasim s Jimem_cz.. Podle Pride to tak chapu i ja
