Ok, takže tady to je… má to být recenze na nějaký film:
Troy is a historical drama directed by Wolfgang Petersen and written by David Benioff. It is loosely based on historical facts from Homer's Iliad, but it often diverges from myth. This war epic takes place in ancient Greece, thousand years before Christ.
Paris begins an affair with Helen, the queen of Sparta. King Menalaus (Brendan Gleeson) takes this as a terrible insult and Agamemnon unites the populations of Greece to bring Helen back from Troy. The fight starts. The outbreak of war is one of the biggest stories of all time. In the end, Greeks win thanks to the Trojan horse.
Orlando Bloom is excellent as the prince of Troy Paris. However, Diane Kruger (Helen) presents the beautiful woman at war, and it's really interesting combination. Achilles (Brad Pitt) is a warrior who hungers for glory and power and Eric Bana does Prince Hector.
The old locations and the scenes look very realistic and credible. The costumes are really brilliant and Troy received also an Oscar nomination for it. Nevertheless, Troy is one of the most expensive films made in modern cinematography.
To sum up, this film shows a nice contrast of fighting and love and I think that Troy belongs to the best historical films in the world. I certainly would recommend you to watch it!
