Kontrola sloh prosím

Může mi někdo prosím zkontrolovat pár vět? Je to vytržené z kontextu, tak snad nebude vadit. Hlavně si nejsem jistý se členy. Děkuji

Překlad první věty mi nedává moc smysl ani v češtině. “První úžasná věc…” – to mi zní tak trochu divně. Napsal bych “Even the landscape / countryside” was amazing!".

2. Today, we are just going to (jedná se o sloh, raději bych používal úplné, nestažené tvary) relax and enjoy (nikoli “ingové” formy).

Když si to ted' překládám, tak mi došlo že ty ing-ové tvary jsou blbost. A za ostatní děkuju, pomohlo.

Mohl byste mi prosím někdo zkontrolovat tento sloh? Věřím, že tam najdete spoustu gramatických chyb  

I read this book which is about Hazel Grace Lancaster, eighteen years old girl, who has stage IV thyroid cancer and long-settled colony in her lungs.
Whole story starts in the basement of church where is support group. There Hazel Grace met Augustus Waters. It’s a boy who survived osteosarcoma. They became a friends very quickly and started spend time together. How quickly they became a friends they fell in love but Hazel Grace wanted be just a friends because she knew she is garnet, which can blow up in every time, so she wanted reduce damages. People who can suffer her loss. Hazel Grace had just one wish find an answers to her questions about the end of her favourite book from the writer Peter Van Houten. She tried to connect with Peter Van Houten but he never answered. He wanted meet her wish and so he connected with Peter´s Van Houten assistant. They flew by plane to the Holland where lives Peter Van Houten. The meeting with writer was horrible because he was aggressive and he was drunk. They were disappointed but then they enjoyed this trip just together. Before they left Holland August had been telling that his cancer came back and he has metastasis in his lungs, livers just everywhere. When they got home Gus´es condition worsened and one day he died. This was not a depressive book about two people who are dying of cancer. It was story which shows that love and pain have to be felt and that world isn´t the factory for fulfilled wishes.
