Hi Jacky. ‘Because’ is actually the correct word for that sentence. It wouldn't make sense if you used although or while. I would use a comma not a dash in the middle of the sentence too. Richard.

But that's why I said we need the context – the sentence alone can be correct, but in the text it is not. The whole story (I found by google) is:
