Překlad anglické věty

Dokázal by někdo pomoci z překladem této věty?
Vůbec mi to nedává smysl, zejména s tou první částí.

Neni to „quite simply“?

Je to věta z anglických titulků k jednomu dokumentu a jak jsem se díval, tak přímá dějová návaznost na předchozí věty tam není. A samozřejmě tam můžou mít překlep.

Jestli je to „quite simply“, pak ta veta ma nejaky smysl. Ale neumim to prelozit do cestiny…

Co se týče toho překladu s užitím „quite simply“ napadá mě tato možnost:
Docela jednoduše, ta doba, ve které neumíme dostatečně ocenit hmotu (látku) kterou polykáme, je minulostí.

Ale stejně to vypadá trochu divně.

Never heard of it, but I will have a look. I am a firm believer that food can both positively and negatively affect our health. Whenever I go back to the USA and go to the grocery store, I am appalled at what I find there. Really just a lot of crap!
