Proč je v následujícím souvětí použita předložka „near to“: He then got a taxi to a street NEAR TO the address JoJo had given him, and waited until the taxi was out of sight.
– měla jsem za to, že „near to“ se používá jen u blížících se stavů, jako např. near to death, near to tears apod.
A proč se říká: „We became best fiends in high school.“ či „We have been best friends since our childhood.“ – já bych před „best“ dala určitý člen …
