ČASOVÁ SOUSLEDNOST

Ahoj, zrovna koukám na jeden seriál a najednou na mě vyskočí souvětí: “I wanted to be here when you saw it for the first time.” a titulek “Chtěl jsem tu být až to uvidíš poprvé”.

Ať to beru z jakéhokoli konce, tak mi ta věta přijde divná. Nemělo by to být spíš: “I wanted to be there when you saw it for the first time”? (pokud se jednalo o nějakou dávnou minulost, co už proběhla a řečník u toho samotnýho aktu, kdy to onen dotyčný viděl, nebyl, ale chtěl být a teď nad tím projevuje lítost)

nebo

“I wanted to be here when you see it for the first time " (jakože "chtěl jsem být u toho, až to poprvé uvidíš – myšleno jako "těšil jsem se na to, až ti to tady ukážu, až to spatříš…”) … akorát tady by mi spíš přišlo lepší “I have (ever) wanted to be here…” než ten minulý čas, jako “Vždycky jsem chtěl být u toho, až to konečně poprvé spatříš. A teď to vidíš. Tady to je. Nádhera, co.”

A ještě takový malý dodatek: Jsou správně tyhle možnosti?

I wish you were with me… I wish you to be with me. (Přeji si, abys teď byla se mnou…) I wished you were with me… I wished you to be with me. (Přál jsem si, abys byla v tu chvíli se mnou…) I wished you had been with me… I wished you to be with me that time. (Přál jsem si tehdy, abys byla se mnou někdy ještě dřív v minulosti… ) “When I was sitting on the airplane on the way from the vacation, I wished you had been with me on that beautiful island I had been to for 2 weeks.”

Jedná se o vedlejší větu časovou.

I want to be here when you see it for the first time. Chci tady být, když to uvidíš poprvé.
I wanted to be here when you saw it for the first time. Chtěljsem tady být,až to poprvé uvidíš. V češtině budoucnost, v angličtině minulý (myšleno gramatický) čas.

I wished you to be with me that time. Přál jsem si tehdy, abys byla se mnou někdy ještě dřív v minulosti.

Toto se mi nezda, dal bych “I wished you to have been with me then”.

Ta posledni veta mi prijde zbytecne komplikovana, ale vypada gramaticky v poradku; stejne tak zbytek.

Jen dodam, ze predpokladam, ze “unreal time” lze po “wish” pousunovat o cas zpatky. Urcite by to slo i bez posunu “I wished you were” misto “I wished you had been” a vzhledem k tomu ze ty vety maji znamenat kazda neco trosku jineho bych ten posun udelal. Sam ovsem nevim, kdy se u vet s “wish” posunovat muze.

A potom: “Chtěl jsem být u toho, když jsi to tehdy viděl poprvé.” by bylo (I wanted to be (here nebo there?) when you had seen it for the first time) ?

“Chtěl jsem být u toho, když tohle je tvoje poprvé, co to vidíš” (I wanted to be here when IT WAS FOR YOUR FIRST TIME YOU SAW IT) nebo (I wanted to be here when THIS IS FOR YOUR FIRST TIME YOU SEE IT) ?

Takže ještě pro jistotu:

I wanted to be a million miles away when it started. (Chtěl jsem být milion mil daleko, až to začne)

I wanted to be a million miles away when it had started) (Chtěl jsem být milion mil daleko, když to začalo)

Je to tak správně?:-)
