Stydím se zeptat, ale…opravdu je první věta špatně? (bylo mi to řečeno na hodině) Opravdu nelze použít not any + adjektivum ?

• There is not any similar website (stress on not) isn't idiomatic, sounds foreign, looks wrong, and is not acceptable in this “is not” (instead of contracted isn't) long form.
• There isn't a(ny) similar website (stress on is) is generally ok, for example:

Last but not least, 4MOST will perform a deep survey of the Magellanic Clouds: given that there isn't any similar instrument in the Southern Hemisphere, this study will be unique.

• There's no similar website is the standard declarative form, and this could have been used in the example above.

When you shorten not to 'nt, you can use any with either the singular or the plural …

I think these sentences are grammatically correct, but they sound off [= znějí blbě], the first one more than the second:

• There is not any employee here.
• There isn't any employee here.
